Eliot & Heather’s summer Chesapeake Bay Beach Club wedding was full of fun and laughter. These two have that contagious kind of love and make everyone around them smile a little bigger. Their waterfront ceremony, views, and live band Verona added extra excitement to their celebration!
FIRST DATE
Heather and I both went to the University of Maryland at the same time and were probably in the same place about a hundred times, but never met. As fate would have it, it took Covid for us to finally cross paths and meet. We first met at the Merritt pool in Canton through mutual friends. Initially, we hung out in group settings before Eliot got the courage to ask Heather out on a date. Our first date was at Hersh’s on September 4, 2020, and over the next couple of years, our relationship strengthened through spending time with family, traveling, spending nights cooking together, and nights out with friends in the city.
PROPOSAL
Heather hates surprises. So I figured the best way to propose would be to surprise her. I also knew how important it was for her friends/best friend, Jen, to be involved. After planning a dinner with her high school friends, I figured that would be the perfect night to propose. Heather even got a brand-new outfit for the dinner! I planned with Jen that her and her husband would come over prior to the dinner for “pictures.” Thankfully, the weather was absolutely perfect that November evening and I was able to propose to Heather along the water not far from our place. Needless to say, all of her friends were just as surprised as her when she got to dinner. It was great to be able to celebrate with them and even better she said yes!
Eliot & Heather are heading to Europe for their honeymoon. They are traveling down to the Amalfi Coast, Santorini, Greece and ending in Rome, Italy. Dream of dreams honeymoon, highly recommend a European adventure to celebrate your first week married.
