Jennifer and Chris had their William Paca House & Garden elopement in downtown Annapolis. It was a perfect fall day at the Paca Gardens. This Georgian mansion was built in the 1760s and has so much charm! I loved all the flowers blooming in the different gardens around the brick mansion. After their intimate ceremony down by the pond, Jen and Chris decided to walk around the streets of Annapolis up to the State House. This road leading to the State house is one of my favorite spots for elopement photos, it’s quintessential Annapolis!
Located right on Prince George Street, steps from the City Docks of Annapolis, William Paca House has one of the largest gardens in the area.
The Summerhouse overlooks the sweeping gardens that are still kept up in the same style from the 1740s in England. We meandered through the pathways in between the gardens and wild flowers. The team at the Paca house works hard to keep “native plants of North America that had been brought into cultivation by Paca’s time. ” It was such a beautiful landscape to have as the background for Jennifer and Chris’ small wedding ceremony and elopement photos. To find out more about the William Paca House and gardens wedding venue rental contact Jody. It is a serene property for weddings anywhere from small guest lists to 150 guests. It offers an outdoor ceremony space down the walkway towards the Summerhome as well as a tented reception and indoor museum area. The front brick patio, street side of the Paca house would also be a lovely spot for cocktail hour! It has an outdoorsy historic charming vibe with the perks of a gorgeous Georgian mansion in the background and lavish gardens.
