Claire and Ryan had their Elkridge Furnace Inn wedding this past Friday. We were apart of Emily & Alex’s wedding (Claire’s sister) who also had their ceremony and reception at the Inn. Claire’s Aunt & Uncle tied the knot here years ago, and it seems as though it became a family tradition to get married at the Elkridge Furnace Inn. They were surrounded by all their closest friends and family who tore up the dance floor with DJ Urban Cowboy.

Claire & Ryan’s “meet-cute” is definitely worth reading:
“On a random July night in Baltimore (July 2, 2015 to be exact), The Band Perry was playing at Pier Six Pavilion. Claire and Holly Hunt (friend) decided to take the short 10-minute walk from Fell’s Point to the concert venue, sit on the ledge across the water (aka the free seats), and listen to the band play.
While on the way, Holly got a call from her friend Kevin DiGrazia who was looking to hang out. Holly invited him to join and guess who came with him? None other than Ryan Hans Gates.
Kevin and Ryan arrived at the ledge, sat down, and started making small talk. Ryan immediately poked fun at Claire’s high school, age, and religion but eventually won her over by offering to get her Chipotle from the nearby location.
The night ended with an actual fireworks show for July 4th, so we can officially say that there were sparks and fireworks when they first met. The rest is history.”
