The venue sits just 15 minutes outside Philadelphia on over 200 acres of gorgeous grounds that make for stunning bridal portraits and outdoor ceremonies. What’s one interesting fact about Huntingdon Valley Country Club?
Huntingdon Valley was the first Club in the Philadelphia area to be organized exclusively for golf.
Tell me about your favorite wedding last season.
The bride and groom had a mariachi band play during the cocktail reception and had the best DJ, Darren Moyer “Crowd Pleasers Entertainment”
Flexible Wedding Packages and Choice of Reception Venue
Couples have plenty of options when designing their wedding at Huntingdon Valley Country Club. The country club accommodates up to 200 people and is open to special requests. They offer the use of their grounds for engagement and bridal portraits and a variety of reception venues for couples to choose from including the Ballroom, an outside terrace, and the Garden & Lounge room for smaller dinners and events. The club also includes three smaller rooms that accommodate up to 40 guests, typically used for small dinners and events.

How far out should a couple pay a deposit to secure your venue for their wedding day?
Wedding Industry trends are that you should book your date at least 12 to 18 months in advance of your wedding date. However, when it comes to September and October I would suggest sticking to the 18 month time frame. Those are the most popular months of the year for weddings so everyone wants those dates.
What is included when a couple books your venue for their wedding?
Our packages include a choice of five passed hors d’oeuvres, a choice of one stationed hors d’oeuvres, a choice of one soup or salad, choice of entrees, a choice of a starch and a vegetable, a choice of one dessert, a wedding cake from Bredenbeck’s Bakery, a five hour premium bar and champagne toast. Also included is an outdoor ceremony, rehearsal, and use of our bridal suite.

We want our couples to have the wedding day of their dreams. We are flexible with our packages and are more than open to special requests. Whatever we can do to help make their day special and one-of-a-kind.

What do you have planned for the future?
Our vision for the future is to be able accommodate outdoor receptions as well as ceremonies. The idea at this point is to establish an area on the grounds that can be tented in order to host outdoor receptions. It would add another element to what we can offer. We are in the very beginning stages of planning and development for this type of event.
