Madeline & Tommy included their two cute pups in their Celebrations at the Bay waterfront wedding in Maryland!! Lucy and Charlie may have almost stolen the show! However Madeline & Tommy’s sweet connection was felt by all. These two met in Chicago at a engineering summer internship where they spent many nights together going to cookouts & exploring Chicago! It was one of the best summer’s they’d ever had. When their internships ended, they both went back to finish school and shortly after moved to Maryland to be together.
Fast forward a few years, a new house and puppy later…..
Madeline’s side of the proposal story: “July 4th weekend in 2017, both of our parents were visiting from out of town. One of the mornings they were visiting, we were planting flowers and doing some yard work at our newly bought home- just a typical Sunday. Right before everyone was about to leave to head back home, Tommy kept telling Charlie, our Maltipoo puppy, to “get mommy’s gift.” No one knew what he was referring to until he got down on one knee and proposed in front of his parents, my parents and Charlie. Everyone was surprised and couldn’t believe that was happening right then and there. The only people who knew Tommy bought the ring were my sister, the best man, and Charlie (who knew about the ring for a few months!). I couldn’t believe he kept a secret for that long. It was such a special day that will never be forgotten!”
