Mimi & David came back to where Mimi grew up to have their Sherwood Forest Clubhouse Annapolis wedding! Mimi and David’s story began in the Spring of 2007 at Gilman’s Senior Prom. They were introduced by one of David’s classmate’s who informed them that they would both be attending Williams and they should become fast friends. Both said ‘See ya in Williamstown’ but neither heeded that sage advice… what dopes! Mimi and David re-connected at Williams during First Days after David recognized Mimi’s Greyhound t-shirt. They both enjoyed their four years in Williamstown and became great ‘stop and chat friends’, but no more. While they enjoyed each other’s company, they mutually decided to ‘slow play it’ and let their future romance marinate on the back burner. A short seven years after they first met, David and Mimi had a chance run in on a DC snow day. After Snowmaggedon II (a mere 3-4 inches ), David and a group of friends, on the way to the bar, bumped into Mimi and her friends on the way to the movies. Realizing that fate doesn’t often smile on you thrice, they resolved to hang out in the near future. With the aid of homemade soups, perceptive friends, and 930 Club concerts, they started dating and never looked back.
David and Mimi got engaged on a normal Tuesday after a trip to the gym and a home cooked meal. Over the last three years, Mimi and David have shared friends, holidays, career moves, physical moves, friends’ weddings and so much more. They couldn’t be more excited to spend the rest of ‘normal days’ together knowing that each will prove to be extraordinary.
