What’s the best way to celebrate after an insane year? If you said a spring wedding, then you are absolutely right.
Lauren and Pat celebrated their love with a gorgeous spring wedding in the Annapolis Maritime Museum.
They were surrounded by their friends, family, and lots of happiness (and love of course!)
Their Love Story
Lauren and Pat actually met years back at work. What started off as simple coworkers, turned into a really close friendship. They never thought much of it until they moved an hour away from each other. That time apart really helped them realize that their friendship was so much more! So in 2016, they picked out their Christmas trees together and the rest is history. Let’s be real picking out Christmas trees together goes down as one of the cutest relationship traditions. Better yet, they named their Christmas Tree Bruce Springstein…I mean?! How can you not love them?
The Proposal
“Pat had the perfect plan for an April 2020 vacation proposal on the beach at sunset with our dogs. Those plans obviously changed and we stayed home. Thankfully, we have a bit of a lantern and candle addiction when it comes to home decor. We picked up takeout one night from Boatyard and Pat insisted on setting up all of our lanterns outside for dinner, which should have been a clue, but he can get really into lighting! It wasn’t the proposal he planned, but it was perfect just the same.”

Wedding Day
Now onto their wedding day! When we asked Lauren and Pat what they wanted their guests to remember most about their wedding day, their answer was pretty simple. They wanted their guests to have an AMAZING time and let loose. 2020 was such an insane year that they really wanted their guests to really feel safe and enjoy their time together.
