Thad and Kylie met in high school Spanish class in 2008. Thad was not very good at Spanish, while Kylie picked up the language pretty quickly. She was more than happy to help the cute, tall lacrosse player! Kylie was hoping he would ask her out but then they went on summer break she never heard from him. Luckily, they saw each other the next fall when school started, and began dating and enjoyed lots of time hanging out with friends, cheering each other on at lacrosse games, going to prom together, etc. When it came time for college, they went their separate ways. In 2015 when Kylie returned home from JMU on winter break, they reconnected during a night at the bars in DTA – thanks Fireball! After texting for a few months and hanging out when Kylie moved home after graduating, they knew that this time would be it! Since then they have enjoyed 8 years of traveling, trying new coffee shops, moving into their first house and adopting their dog Nova.
