Christine and Andrew met for the first time on December 3, 2016, in Old Ellicott City at the annual Midnight Madness festival. Much to Andrew’s surprise he met Christine’s older brother that night. He handled it with great confidence and decided to plan a second date with Christine! The following week Christine joined Andrew in OEC at Judges Bench for karaoke, and she had the opportunity of meeting one of his best friends. For months they continued to meet in OEC and quickly bonded over their love for the little city, travel, and their favorite TV shows.
On January 30th, 2022, Andrew surprised Christine with brunch at the Galway Bay Irish Restaurant and Pub in downtown Annapolis. After enjoying a meal, they decided to take a walk around their second favorite city in Maryland. They made their way to the pier, and while taking in views of the Annapolis Harbor and enjoying the beautiful weather, Andrew popped the question!
