Taylor & Dane met at dollar beer night at Claddagh’s in Canton, and the rest is history! They fell in love enjoying each other’s company taking relaxing beach vacations and exploring new places, ordering Chinese food on the couch, and spending time with their friends and family.
Taylor tells us the proposal story: “We got engaged last July on Assateague. Dane planned a beach week for us in Ocean City where he is from, with my family, who is from Long Island. The night before everyone came down, he asked if I wanted to go to Rice House for dinner, which is where he worked in high school. Before we went there we drove to the beach and he told me we couldn’t get out of the car until the temperature hit 78 degrees or some other random number (because he was waiting for the sun to start to set). After walking about a mile he said we needed to get the first vacation picture and we set up a little phone tripod. After playing with it for a few minutes and taking way too many test photos, he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him! Then, of course, we went to Rice House. My family met us the next day and he had our best friends from Baltimore surprise us mid way through the week. It was perfect!”
