I was honored to be asked to photograph Kathryn & Amy’s LGBT wedding at the Washington DC Superior Court! Kathryn is the author and writer of “The New Art of Capturing Love –The Essential Guide to Lesbian & Gay Wedding Photography” in which I am a contributing photographer. What makes their wedding even more special is that it was my first wedding to photograph after same-sex marriages were legalized Maryland. So not only a celebration for Amy & Kathryn but for all LGBT weddings to finally be able to marry one another under law. Meant the world to me that she trusted me with this incredibly momentous occasion.
Months later Kathryn who also heads up GayWeddings.com was interviewed by the Arlington Magazine for a special article “Here Come the Brides“. A very informative and helpful resource for gay marriages from invitations, to flowers, photography, and etiquette! SO excited to share a few of my photographs from the magazine publication.
