Lucy & Paul met freshman year of high school in science class. After becoming friends and starting to date their sophomore year, they dated through their first year of college (him at Maryland and her at the College of Wooster), until ultimately deciding to go their separate ways. A few years after graduating college, they found themselves back together. “I reached out to him when I heard him and his college girlfriend broke up…” Lucy told us. “Guilty.”
Paul proposed to Lucy at her favorite park, Oregon Ridge, where she has fond memories of hiking when she was younger, the park being just a few minutes from where she grew up.
