Madeline and Tommy brought their cute 8 month old Maltipoo pup Charlie to their Federal Hill engagement photos last week! Charlie may have only been 5 pounds but full of energy and strong enough to pull us all over the park. Thanks to their friend Steve who came to hang out with Charlie for the last half of their session. Pups attention span is 10-15 minutes, so having a mini-pup walker or pup-sitter is super helpful. How Madeline and Tommy’s love story began…
Madeline: “We met in Chicago during a summer internship about 6 years ago. When the internship ended, we both went back to finish school and shortly after moved to Maryland. This past July 4th weekend, both of our parents were visiting from out of town. One of the mornings they were visiting, we were planting flowers and doing some yard work at our newly bought home- just a typical Sunday. Right before everyone was about to leave to head back home, Tommy kept telling Charlie, our Maltipoo puppy, to “get mommy’s gift.” No one knew what he was referring to until he got down on one knee and proposed in front of his parents, my parents and Charlie. Everyone was surprised and couldn’t believe that was happening right then and there. The only people who knew Tommy bought the ring were my sister, the best man, and Charlie (who knew about the ring for a few months!) ? I couldn’t believe he kept a secret for that long. It was such a special day that will never be forgotten!”
