Historic London Town and Gardens Wedding in Edgewater, MD | Jessica & Brian

Jessica and Brian got married in Historic London town and gardens here in Edgewater, MD. Their wedding day was so beautiful, filled with so much love from family and friends. Their wedding was so unique and special to them, it was such a joy to capture! Brian’s cousin was their officiant making for the most personal and funny wedding ceremony. To top it off, Brian was so ecstatic to marry Jessica that he kept saying “I do” too early. It was a day filled with so much laughter, love, and happiness for the new couple. Now before we get into the photos, I want to share their story from their own point of view! It’s an interesting one you’re going to want to read!

How It Began

“Brian and I met while working at NASA on the Magnetospheric MultiScale (MMS) mission. In April of 2014, we started dating and went on a group trip to the Dominican Republic in the August of 2014 with some close friends that are at the wedding party. Then March 2015 rolled around and we officially moved in together into Brian’s townhouse in Laurel, MD right before MMS launched! We love to travel and experience new cultures. So far we’ve traveled to the Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, San Francisco, New York, Ohio, Michigan, Colorado, New Orleans, Outer Banks, and most recently Big Island Hawaii and Maui! We are so excited to continue our adventures together and get the most out of this life!” – Jessica and Brian

The Proposal

This proposal is a total dream. While on their vacation in Hawaii, Jessica and Brian were overlooking the water on Punaluu Black Sand Beach Park on Big Island, HI. As Jessica turns around, she sees Brian down on one knee, on top of the black lava rocks asking to marry her I mean how beautiful is that?! It doesn’t get more romantic than a proposal overlooking the Hawaiian ocean! Thankfully Brian’s father was able to capture this beautiful moment between them. They later celebrated their engagement with drinks at the park alongside their parents and Brian’s aunt and uncle who were with them on the

trip!

The Wedding Day

Once again, Jessica and Brian’s wedding day was one for the books. It was a true testament to the wonderful life they have built together along with the beautiful relationships they have with their family. His parents even gave a wonderful speech regarding their story and the success they have had while working with NASA. After the ceremony, we headed to the dock to get some portraits of them. It started to rain but it didn’t scare them away! Jessica was a true champ and was totally down with getting rained on to get some beautiful shots! I might be biased but the photos were definitely worth the rain! Jessica and Brian definitely made this a fun celebration that I know their guests will remember always!
