About a month ago I met with my sister Shannon Irizarry and her two handsome boys, Jack and Eddie on the Eastern Shore to do family photographs! I adore these two lil’ guys and couldn’t have been more blessed to spend 2 hours with my family at the beautiful home of Vicki Burnett, Shannon’s sister. I won’t go into explaining how we all are somehow related, ha that would take hours. We will just go on knowing that Shannon and I share a Dad!
So, while we were shooting, I try to bring along a few things that may interest the kids involved. Today was an old camera and binoculars. The binoculars were our fathers, and the camera is an old brownie I found at a junk shop! My greatest excitement was watching my youngest nephew pick up the camera and actually try to photograph with it! I must say his interest in the camera was thrilling and inspiring. Who knows maybe we will have another Ansel Adams, or famous photographer on our hands! I sure could use the help!
My sister Shannon’s life revolves around these two boys, and her love and determination to make these boys smart, successful and caring is impressive. Jack and Eddie’s dad is in the Army and has recently been deployed, he has been on countless trips, but these boys look up to their dad Sam Irizarry very much. They still talk about him whenever I see them, and hopefully this makes it to Sam’s screen to warm him up a bit with his boys! Needless to say I love these people very much! You can probably see it in the photographs. I, of course had to cut myself off or I would have photographed all day! Please be sure to watch the Photo Video Fusion at the bottom! My nephews are hams, and my sister is a closet model!
My little nephews seriously steal my heart when I see them, yes they have enough attitude for 5 people but they truly are going to be two wonderful men, and amazing dance partners for some lucky lady in 20 years!
