It may have rained part way through Julie & Brent’s Annapolis Maritime Museum wedding but they sure didn’t let it stop them! Julie and Brent have such a sweet demeanor, from the moment I met them their connection made me smile. It makes a photographer’s life a dream when the couple and their families love one another so deeply and express it openly. The moment I arrived tears were flowing and it was contagious (I couldn’t help but tear up behind the camera) when Julie’s dad burst into the room and embraced her. His hugs you could see where heart warming, the kind of hug that literally makes the tears flow. We loaded the Towne Transport Trolley and headed to the church, in a choir of singing “Going to the chapel”…Seriously every moment was perfection. Once Brent saw Julie he was smiling ear to ear, you could see his excitement, they stood beside one another. Hand in hand, at times Brent would lean over to reach for her hand, it was these small moments that you get a glimpse into the compassion and adoration they have for one another. It didn’t end there. The rain began a few minutes after the ceremony but we lucked out with enough breaks to stop at the Westin Annapolis Hotel under my favorite archways, the State House, and back outside on the docks of the Annapolis Maritime Museum!!! Best wishes to this happy couple and their amazingly supportive and loving families & friends. (Ever since their first dance to “You Are” by Lionel Richie I’ve been singing that day in day out ask my studio/office mate haha, BEST song ever!
