Kara & Ben had their Naval Academy wedding on a very special and record breaking hot day! The heat didn’t stop these two from running around the Naval Academy grounds to photograph from Radford Terrace, Dahlgren Hall arched walkway, Buchanan gardens, all the way over to the Santee Basin, and ending at the Rock wall! Photographer’s dream couple, yes indeed! I must mention that Kara’s hair and makeup looked flawless ALL day, yes all day, thanks to Behind the Veil LLC. It takes a professional to create an up-do that holds in 90 degree weather all day even into the sunset portraits at 8:30pm! Kara & Ben are such a fantastic team and laugh so much while they’re together. It was a joy watching them tie the knot and celebrate at the Preserve at Historic Kent Manor Inn with DJ Little Rock from Mixing Maryland! Charlotte Jarrett Events truly brought all their nautical inspired details together, including custom crab mallets made by Bay Imprints. As if the day couldn’t get more special, Kara and her dad surprised everyone with a cool dance to get everyone up doing the twist. Kara’s brother Scott and his wife Brenda celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary June 13th, and Kara even had an anniversary cake made to surprise them! Sweetest couple.
