The last week we have had WAY too much rain, however Katherine & Steven lucked out for their eastern shore beach engagement photos with clear skies, perfect temps, and a little sun! We arrived at Terrapin Park beach to a closed park sign, however luckily for us there were plenty of others who were still walking around the sign and going on the trail. So happy we weren’t the only ones rebelling because the over cast glowing skies, Katherine’s dress, and Steven’s minty top made them pop off the sky. Most of all…Katherine seriously looked like a mermaid. Amie Decker Beauty did Katherine’s beach wave hair and natural rosy makeup. Katherine & Steven met in the cutest most random way ever. When they first told me it was obvious the universe had plans they didn’t even know! So obviously I needed Katherine to share more details….
Katherine: “We worked together at a fitness center on Long Island, which is how we met. I had recently moved to the area and was actually on my way to apply to a different gym and got lost, and stumbled upon Powerhouse Gym where Steven already worked. It was fate! We became friends right away and started dating a few months later. We’re still workout partners today. Steven proposed at Cinderella’s Royal Table in Disney World! I had no clue he was going to propose at the end of dinner. Our waitress was bringing out my dessert, but when she uncovered the plate it was a bed of rose petals with a small glass slipper in the center. I was so confused, and turned to Steven and said “I can’t eat this?” Steve laughed and remained unfazed. He proposed in front of a room of clapping dinner guests. It was a magical evening!”
