Lauren and Michael have a house full of animals and so it was fitting that we did an in home engagement session to include all their furry friends! They recently bought this charming house outside Baltimore and it was the PERFECT background for their photo session. They had done a bit of redecorating and even got some new stairs from here when I visited. It was a lovely house! I always ask my couples to choose a meaningful spot, and what could be more meaningful then your first home and place you start this next chapter in!? Their backyard had amazing light that came through and we tried so hard to get all three dogs to participate but they all were just SO excited they could barely contain themselves. The 11 kitties on the other hand had NO interest, so we were able to wrangle 3 to be photographed, the others ran and hid. Lauren and Michael both have a big heart for animal rescue and volunteer their home for pets that can’t find a home yet. Talk about a full time second job. I hope more of my engaged friends choose at home engagement sessions, they turned out to be one of my favorites. So authentic and real. Looking forward to their Cylburn arboretum wedding in just a couple months!
