Melissa & Eric met me at the Breaux Vineyard in Purcellville, Virginia last week on a B.E.A.Utiful day! Melissa and Eric over the last two years have traveled to over 15 vineyards in the Virginia area and are still keeping track with their Virginia Wine Map! Yes I may be stealing that idea 🙂 Although the bugs loved us, the grapes were filling the vines, the sun was shining, and there was a light breeze. Melissa started in a beautiful red dress which really made them pop out of the vineyard! Eric wore perfectly tailored pants and a blue button up which really complimented Melissa’s dress. We also lucked out with live music during our entire engagement session, with different bands playing every 30 minutes it really made the atmosphere perfect. I absolutely fell in love with the Breaux Vineyard and of course bought 3 bottles to try. I went home with the 2012 Jennifer’s Jambalaya, 2007 Cabernet Franc Reserve, and the 2012 Chère Marie. Tasting party at Carly’s house soon!
After our Breaux Vineyard engagement session Melissa and Eric stayed for dinner and wine as the sun set. A perfect ending to a long work week! I highly recommend making your engagement session into a romantic fun date. Wedding planning can consume all your free time so take advantage of the time together. I cannot wait for their May 2014 wedding at the Poplar Springs Inn!
