Meredith and Filemon threw an amazing celebration with their friends and family at their Tabard Inn DC wedding. They have known each other for years and are very close and beyond supportive of one another. Always looking out for the other through out the day. Filemon and Meredith have a pretty unique proposal story so I have to share it! The had discussed getting married and were loosely talking about a date (over chat, at work). Filemon sent Meredith a google calendar invitation for the date without another thought. Meredith was so busy and distracted at work that she just accepted without thinking about it. About an hour later, Fil said (over chat), “Did I just propose to you over google calendar? And in my defense, did you accept?” I replied, “Yes. Yes I did.” So there is a first for everything, google calendar proposal?!
Meredith: We’d been friends for about ten years, having met through my “sister” Maureen (Mo). One day, we were hanging out and Fil leaned over and kissed me. I kissed him back. We suddenly pulled apart, just looked at each other and went “huh,” then started kissing again.
