After meeting in Baltimore through friends, Alyssa and Matt started dating in March 2018, moved in together to a house in Canton in March 2019, and got engaged November 2020. Since it was during a COVID surge, the proposal was “very low key,” Alyssa said. “Matt picked up food from a fancy restaurant near the house which we shared together in Canton, bought an expensive bottle of wine, and popped the question right in our living room.”
