Sarah & Matt | Autumn Beach Wedding Photographer

Sarah & Matt’s autumn beach wedding was such an amazing way to end my season! We had just enough light to run from the church to the Chesapeake Bay Beach club for portraits on the rocks and beach!! Sarah even had a cute pair of moccasins to throw on so she could get her dance on. My kinda gal. They planned and booked everything themselves, from the venue to the entertainment to the Wedding videographer, Cardiff. And it all turned out so perfect!

Matt and Sarah met while working together in Washington, DC. Three years later Matt asked Sarah to marry him on the rooftop of the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennsesse. While on a vaca to visit Elvis (Sarah’s a huge fan!) Sarah’s family was mostly from Pittsburgh and Matt’s family from Baltimore, so to say there was a huge rivalry of sports teams is an understatement. The reception was full of table after table competing for the biggest cheer as if we were at a game. A hilarious first for all of us! The cake topper was used at the bride’s parents’ wedding in 1976. The favors were Sarris chocolates, which is a popular candy company located 15 minutes from where the bride grew up near Pittsburgh. To represent the Maryland side they had cute crab koozies for everyone. Their Peace of Cake dessert and the Pittsburgh cookie table might have been one of my favs of the year. How can you go wrong with cute bags to take home an assortment of cookies?!?!
