Washington DC Engagement Photographs during the Cherry Blossom Festival!
Sarah and Patrick met me last week with their two pups at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial for their Washington DC Engagement Photographs! It was a gorgeous day upper 70s making it great weather to walk around the Tidal Basin in DC photographing in between the crowds. The view of the Jefferson Memorial was gorgeous from the southern part of the Tidal Basin. Sarah & Patrick were so amazing, they danced, snuggled, smooched, and flirted so sweetly even with 100s of people watching! I was super impressed…I also have to thank their friend Claire for coming and picking up their pups so that it made it easy to have their dogs in the national mall engagement photographs. It definitely made it sooo much easier for Sarah & Patrick to enjoy their engagement session and hopefully a sweet date afterwards!

It is a sure way to make sure there are still beautiful blooms. This year blooms were almost 3 weeks later than most years. The EarthCam made it easy to check the status of the buds!! Also parking is difficult and you may not be friends by the end of the drive haha, so either metro in, or Park at Memorial Parking lot where there is often spots. It is free and just a block away from the Jefferson Memorial! Last tip, bring extra shoes that are comfy to walk around DC in, heels will look gorgeous but flip flops will make it easier to walk especially during your Washington DC Engagement photographs 🙂
