Laura & Ty met “the traditional way: the internet.” Their first date was on the Magothy at The Pointe, where they stayed until they were kicked out. Their first and second dates lasted several hours, and “Ty eventually convinced me he was the One after showing off his dance moves at Middleton’s piano bar,” Laura told us.
As for the proposal? Laura recounted, “We were at the beach with friends, working a 1000 piece puzzle depicting a ship. At the end, there were two missing pieces (alas!). During a sunset walk on the beach, Ty dropped a knee to the sand and showed Laura a ring box that contained one of the missing puzzle pieces, which was inscribed with ‘Marry Me?’ to which Laura gleefully agreed (Ty also produced the actual ring as well). As for the second missing piece? Well, that’s a story for another day… because no one knows where it is.”
