Susan & Xander were introduced by friends, set up on a blind date kayaking to First Landing Park, and a two hour paddle turned into an all day adventure with chicken wings and champagne! Their blind date quickly became a romance which took them adventuring all over the east coast, from Kitty Hawk to Niagra Falls. When Xander got orders to go to California Susan came along, and they started building a little family together with their dog, Sally, in San Diego.
To propose, Xander took advantage of the fact that Susan always wanted the perfect photo with her guy and her puppy by gifting her a professional pet photography session at a few locations around San Diego. He had coordinated the proposal with a photographer, and at sunset on Coronado Beach, Xander surprised her with the ring!
