Arielle & Surge’s Holly Hedge Estate Wedding in New Hope PA was something out of a dream. Their day was perfect and with a short 30 minute rain shower full of good luck! Their love story is full of excitement and adventure so their wedding day continued that theme.
In April of 2017, Surge and Arielle went on their annual spring break trip, this time to Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, and several other national parks. On their second night of the trip, Surge mentioned that they would be waking up early the next morning (what else is new). He said that he spontaneously booked a hot air balloon ride in the morning. Arielle had difficulty sleeping that night, as she is terrified of heights. The next morning, they arrived at a restaurant to meet their hot air balloon guide. He pulled Surge aside separately, which made Arielle think that something suspicious was happening. While on the hot air balloon, Surge kept repeating that he wants to keep checking things off their bucket list together. This seemed odd to Arielle, but she was more focused on the fact that they were floating in the air. As the hot air balloon was about to descend, Surge said that he wanted to play a song (this also seemed odd). He reached into his backpack to grab his bluetooth speaker, and instead he pulled out a jewelry box. Surge asked Arielle to marry him. Arielle was in shock and began laughing, which is how she reacts when she is nervous. She took the ring and eventually was able to speak again, which is when she said, “Yes!”
