Sarah and Zac’s luxury Tusculum Farm micro wedding vibed with everything they love most. They are family-oriented and wanted a small wedding, COVID or otherwise. The most exciting piece to them about their wedding was bringing their two families together, as they start their lives together. We want it to be intimate, casual, and fun! Their wedding day was perfection from the calm loving energy on the farm, the alpacas, the scenery, birds migrating over head…Everything they loved fell into place and it really was magic to be at Tusculum capturing their intimate wedding day.
Zac and Sarah attended Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA. Ursinus is very small school, and the housing is primarily campus-owned houses (mini dorms). Sarah studied abroad the fall semester of her junior year, and when she returned to Ursinus, there happened to an empty room in a house (Hobson) with a lot of her friends. Zac also lived in that house. Zac and Sarah met, dated, and broke up. They continued to increasingly spend time together until eventually moving forward as a couple again.
As their relationship progressed…the proposal came into the picture!! Sarah’s birthday is 4/26, and Zac planned to propose to her that day. COVID messed with his plans, making it more difficult to get a ring, make phone calls, and generally keep everything a secret (we live together!). Sarah had no idea! She thought they would have a low-key birthday celebration at home, maybe with some takeout and a run. Sarah loves to run, and Zac originally planned to propose to her on a nearby running trail. Unfortunately, the forecast called for rain that day, so Sarah changed her running schedule and planned to relax that day instead. Zac quickly pivoted his plans. He got out of bed early on her birthday (she’s typically the early riser), called her downstairs to help him with something, she literally rolled out of bed to join him, and there he was on one knee, in a suit, surrounded by candles. It was truly a surprise! What do you want your guests to love about your wedding? We are family-oriented. We wanted a small wedding, COVID or otherwise, and we are looking forward to celebrating bringing our families together as one as we start our lives together. We want it to be intimate, casual, and fun!
