After Anna and Griffin met at a pizza social, they bonded over planning trips to places like Scottsdale, Napa, and Japan. During 2020, they spent an entire 365 days together, and that’s when they knew they were meant to last forever.
In July 2021, Griffin planned a long weekend getaway in Destin, Florida. Having not a clue what he was intending to do, they were both excited to just spend a few days at the beach. On July 31, Griffin had planned a very romantic candlelight dinner in the sand right by the ocean at sunset. Halfway through, a photographer showed up and offered to take a few sunset photos. Little did Anna know, Griffin had hired this photographer for the proposal. For one shot, the photographer asked Anna to face the ocean with her back to Griffin, and that’s when he got down on one knee! Anna was in complete shock.
