I always love visiting the eastern shore, so this past Sunday when I drove over the bay bridge as the sunrise hit across the bridges it was no different. I was headed to a Hyatt Regency Family Portrait. I realized once I arrived and met this sweet lively group how much I would LOVE to be apart of a HUGE family unit! You may be wondering, did Carly have her Bean Rush coffee?!? Oh boy did I have coffee, it’s rare I am awake at 6am!! The Doyle family of 37, yes 37 adults and children…all met at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay for their parents 50th wedding anniversary! It was incredible! Yes in 50 years this sweet couple have had 8 kids, 19 grand kids, travels, ups, downs, you name it! To imagine being by one person’s side for 50 years is just awe-inspiring to me. I truly hope to find someone that makes me tick and accepts me for that long! ha. Their kids joked that it’s only because they can’t hear or see each other anymore.
This group of 37 were hilarious, full of jokes and smiles. I know it may be hard to believe, but they actually made it easy to get 37 people smiling with all eyes open at the same time, which is a difficult feat! Girl scouts honor I didn’t even have to head swap these large group family portraits! That is shocking in itself! Since we had extra time, yes EXTRA time with a large group is unheard of but we did in our hour session, so we decided to take individual family photos too! So happy Molly found me online by searching the Hyatt Regency photographers and contacted me for this last minute 50th wedding anniversary celebration.
These pictures are so beautiful!
