A while back I headed north for an engagement session in Philadelphia. I lucked out with the weather, clear skies and warm in November!
Anna and Brian have known each other for years! I met them through an Brian’s sister who I went to University of the Arts with. The day couldn’t have been more gorgeous for Anna and Brian’s engagement session. We began the shoot at the first home, the recently purchased. Anna’s vision was to have photographs of the two of them, and then continue photographs in front of the house as the family grows. I absolutely LOVE that! Anna is such a sentimental fool like me! So as I am envisioning kids with these two I realize we need to act like kids so their children have something silly to look back on! It is amazing how your gears can change with just one idea.
Wissahickon Valley Park, was right near by so we headed off to continue the engagement photos. Talk about a hidden gem, this place was so warm and cozy, yes just a park but it had amazing rocks, and beautiful moss growing everywhere. Not getting the right mental picture? Well trust me, this place would help me run, there’s just so much to look at!
While we were shooting Anna and Brian were talking about how there are stables near by and often horses will trout past… You know what’s coming I’m sure?! Behold our lucky little eyes a Horse and it’s rider saunter by us. Being from the gregarious Fuller family, I have a way with introducing myself and coercing innocent bystanders to participate!! Thankfully the rider was willing to allow them to snuggle with the horse. So to say this engagement photo session was ordinary, is far from the truth. Anna and Brian even lucked out and got a shot with the silly horses tongue sticking out! I had such an amazing time with these two love birds, and I am thrilled I get to be apart of their wedding this year in March 2012! Look forward to the fun and excitement with their ENORMOUS 20+ wedding party!
