Brooke Anne & Corey celebrated for their Philadelphia Zoo wedding anniversary! They took it back to where the proposal took place a few years back! From their Ocean city MD engagement photos, to their Tidewater Inn wedding, to their 2 year wedding anniversary and Philadelphia Zoo maternity photos; it has been such a joy to capture the story of their family. I can’t wait to meet their little boy in March 2016!!
Corey and Brooke Anne grew up as neighbors on the same street. They “re-met” as adults when Brooke was in college walking her dog in the neighborhood. Corey “spotted” her and the rest is history. “We dated, moved in, and eventually got married!! There is something very special about having a similar upbringing/childhood memories.”
When asked what has helped you stay together, Corey’s said to always compromise/be flexible and have patience! Brooke answered to always be a team. Life can change real fast all at once and the importance of these two sentiments definitely helped these two to create a strong partnership. Corey and Brooke got engaged, he accepted his dream job with the government and left for months of training, they reunited for 3 days for their wedding and then he had to leave again. Relocated from PA to MD for his new job, search for a new home, and Brooke had to find a new job. It was so much change in ONE year!!! However, the whole time they remained a team and had great communication which got us through the times we were apart with crazy life changes. Brooke said, “It was all worth it and I am so so so proud of Corey’s accomplishments in his current position. We have settled into our new home town and now have our first baby on the way in 2.5 short years of marriage! Life couldn’t be better, more perfect, and I feel we owe it all to our relationship and love.”
I love what Brooke said about communication and being able to remain a team throughout all the changes in life. No one’s life or relationships will ever be 100% constant and predictable. Choosing to be flexible and patient like Corey said is just another great way to remain a supportive team through all the changes life will bring your way.
From proposal, to wedding, to baby, capturing life’s amazing changes has always been important to Brooke Anne, Corey, and their families. Having frozen moments to look back on is helpful through all of life’s changes.
More anniversaries to come. Next up is a couple that has come from Boston to Allentown to Pottstown adding a kiddo to the mix with a 7 year dating anniversary!
