Andy & Janet celebrated 40 years of marriage with their Old City Philadelphia wedding anniversary photos! The last of my anniversary series from the fall photo sessions. From the proposal to 40 years of marriage it is firm in my mind that each relationship is different and it wasn’t the wedding that was the most important day. It was all the small details and times in between filled with laughter and building memories. Traveling together, building a family, and keeping priorities set on your family time.
They met at a local music venue in Center City. Andy was in a band and thought Janet was waving him over. He was surprised and quickly walked down to where Janet was standing in the crowd. Janet promises to this day she wasn’t waving him over! Listening to them laugh over the details was the beginning to our anniversary photo session. Fast forward after dating a couple years they married 40 years ago. Three kids later and a grandkid on the way, they still enjoy spending their free time together, traveling, and bringing their family together. Spending time together laughing is their secret to success and staying friends after 40 years of marriage. I must say they are my role models after spending the evening with Andy & Janet. They have created an incredible family unit, filled with laughter, hugs, and wine! Thank you for the delicious dinner & step back in time at the Saloon with your family Janet & Andy.
