Corks, Boots, Wine tasting,& Boordy Vineyard Engagement Session…
What more could you dream of?!
Ashley & Robert met me in November for their Boordy vineyard engagement session. I always recommend to have a date the day of your engagement session and these two rocked that out! Boordy Vineyard is a fantastic spot for photographs, and attending the wine tasting and live music first definitely gets you relaxed and even more excited for photos! Their humor on the first day we met over coffee and at the engagement session was intoxicating and jokes flowing. If you can’t handle sarcasm get off the bus! haha…
The Boordy Vineyard Engagement photos were really beautiful right at the end of fall with the burnt orange and red colors! Ashley & Robert didn’t even purposefully color coordinate to the foliage that day! Some things just work out great! Ashley’s outfit is almost 100% from Banana Republic and Jcrew! LOVE!
These two are planning a fun filled rustic wedding on their families private home in Soloman’s Island this September 2013!! I am so excited for this wedding because I KNOW it will packed full of laughs! Love those days…life’s too short to take it too seriously after all.
Fun fact: East coast vineyards vs West coast vineyards (thanks to Rob!) The harsher climate of the American northeast complicates the growth of certain wine varieties. The east coast has thinner and more spread out vines due to the fluctuation in temperatures. The west coast has direct sun all year round making the vines bushy and more condensed to protect the grapes from the sunlight.
What a beautiful venue choice! I just love her boots!
