Alexis and Garrett are two people that make photographing a peace of cake! Their love for one another shines even when they aren’t together. The moments when they are in the same room there is electricity that you feel between the two of them. We absolutely adored following them around photographing their love story that began in Fells Point Baltimore to their wedding day in Easton MD at The Tidewater Inn.
Alexis couldn’t wait to be on the dance floor surrounded by people they love! They were both really excited for the opportunity to stay at The Tidewater House with their families who they hadn’t seen much since the pandemic. One of the things they loved most about Tidewater and Easton was the ability to create a whole wedding weekend feel for their guests, and all the offerings that the Eastern Shore provides. 70% of their guest list is traveling from out of town, so they are excited for guests to be able to arrive in Easton, park their cars, and spend the weekend enjoying crabs, getting out on the water, drinking Rise Up Coffee, and exploring all the cute streets of Easton and St. Michael’s. It’s also a bit of a personal, sentimental location for this couple—Alexis’ mom spent her early 20s studying nursing and working at the hospital in Easton (she even remembers going on a dinner date at the Tidewater) and G’s family has a long history of sailing, so their hope was to take their whole bridal party and family out on a skipjack the day after the wedding!!
