I love my job. One day I’m on the eastern shore at Tidewater Inn photographing an eastern shore wedding, and the next day I’m meeting a good college buddy who is expecting in October for her Royersford Maternity Photographs!! Seems like all my friends are preggers or popping out babies! It is so exciting to snuggle with all their new additions and then hand them back 🙂
Last week I got to see two of my favorite friends from my college in one day! Leah with her 8 month old and Karen with her baby boy bump!! Karen was my partner in crime at University of the Arts jammin to disney tunes while staying in the dark room ’til the early hours of the morning. I couldn’t have been more excited to see my college buddy with a baby bump! She looked so beautiful and really was glowing. I kept taking double, triple takes to make sure I wasn’t seeing something! After going through the college days with Kare, it is amazing to watch her marriage strengthen and her family grow. I literally can’t stop smiling even writing this post. Not everyone loves maternity photographs of themselves, but secretly I know that in 10 years you will wish you had gotten a soft beautiful portrait of yourself with a baby growing inside. It’s one of those moments that can never be recreated!
