I am so happy Spring has sprung and engagement season is in full swing! These spring engagement photographs, definitely top my charts and blew me away last Thursday on the beach. Put me on a beach during golden hour of light with a guitarist, a beautiful singer, and couple full of love for one another?! YES! Sign this photographer up, because I was a happy camper and really enjoyed every moment of this playful duo.
Some may have thought that tying an engagement ring to a floatation device and taking it onto a dark pier at night may be another one of those not so fun stories later. haha Luck be told, Kelly and Nick have a cute proposal story that ended very well! On December 23rd at 9pm during a family party, Nick insisted that Kelly get blindfolded and follow him down their dock. She was side tracked with the fun party and didn’t even think things through that Nick may be popping the question. They walked down the steep stairs and creaky pier, ring in Nick’s pocket tied to a buoy. Kelly removed her blindfold to see twinkle lights that spelled out “Marry Me” on the end of the pier and Nick on one knee. Now if that doesn’t just send warm fuzzies I don’t know what will!
I am so excited to be apart of their wedding in April of 2014 at the 1840’s Ballroom in Baltimore!
So cuddly and romantic at the end of the pier…these two really have a special connectionBoy! Are they cute or what?! I couldn’t have loved this day more! This is what happens when your couples are just as playful as you! haha Outtakes are sometimes my favorites.
“Embrace. Try to put this hand there and that hand here and oh you’re tangled?! lol”Kelly is a very humble woman, but I can attest to the fact that she has one SPECTACULAR voice. If Nick and her wanted to sing and play for me for hours, I wouldn’t complain!
