Kent Island Engagement Photography – Cross Island Trail
&
Secret Barn Location
Can you figure out where my secret barn spot is?!
Storms were brewing for this September Kent Island Engagement Photography session with Mandy & Jason. They brought their pup Charlie (which I adored!) a super cute labradoodle who was so inquisitive and stayed right with us even off a leash…Jealous! (My pup Lilly is a regular houdini and would have escaped and ran exploring and then wondered…hmmm…where is my mommy! haha) Anyhow, Mandy brought her sweet cousin to help hang out with Charlie after his photo portion was over. Charlie workedddd it! Licking his chops, wagging his cute tail, and reacting to my cooky noises. Yes if you haven’t heard me talk to a dog or make silly noises to an animal you haven’t been around me for longer then, well, 15 minutes!
We met at the Cross Island Trail (www.traillink.com/trail/cross–island–trail.aspx), which is definitely a gorgeous spot to bike, walk, run, take photos and draw with chalk! Mandy & Jason were sooooo amazing and shared such electric chemistry! I couldn’t even get Jason to keep his paws to himself! haha It was great, made for very romantic photographs and absolutely no time was needed to warm this couple up to the camera! Isn’t Mandy GORGEOUS!?! Her hair is to die. Don’t forget Jason, he’s handsome too but certainly has competition with Charlie…I mean what lady pup wouldn’t drool over him hehe. Mandy is one talented lady tho, she is a wedding coordinator at Jordan Thomas Salon and Spa
This is a great reminder, an important part of your engagement photo session is pampering yourself! I always recommend to get your hair or makeup done, or take yourself to get your nails done before the shoot. Something that pampers you and really makes you feel like the beautiful woman that you are. That way when you show up you feel refreshed and at your best! Mandy and Jason did one wardrobe change which I love, casual country attire, to sexy country attire! Love it!! Be sure to leave them some love, and find out where her lace dress is from!
It’s Mandy’s Birthday today (Feb 1st)!! Be sure to leave her some love at the end xox.
