Maryland State House Engagement Photographs

It is one of the best feelings when an old friend contacts me to capture their wedding and engagement!  Kristen and I went to high school together so seeing her engaged and so happy was really exciting after almost 10 years!  Kristen and Peter had a Renaissance Festival Romance.  Their proposal story was very public and on stage, LOVE!  So it is fitting that their wedding is at a romantic medieval venue, The Cloisters Castle(www.cloisterscastle.com)

We met for their State House Engagement Photographs in the fall on a chilly day, but don’t worry there were still leaves to be had!  The Maryland State House is a great location for engagement portraits.

Little did we know when meeting at the Starbucks first at the top of Main Street that there was a back tunnel (now closed) that government officials could take from the State House to the Maryland Inn!  Unfortunately it’s closed so we couldn’t sneak underground to the State House!  Really neat Annapolis history.
