Monica and Brian have a very unique love story. They have traveled all over following one another to various cities! Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing their Annapolis Marriott wedding on the waterfront overlooking the Naval academy and Eastport! The skies, breeze, and storm cleared by 2pm the PERFECT time to begin photographs for their downtown wedding. Monica’s stunning lace bridal gown was tailored by Lex’s Bridal and her hair and makeup done by Behind the Veil LLC! It is always amazing capturing weddings with other professionals who love being apart of weddings also!
SO, long story short Monica and I went to Severn middle school together, yes middle school!! It was such an exciting surprise when she called asking if I was available to photograph her wedding. I can’t believe it’s been so many years since we saw each other, but it’s crazy how she looks the same like it was yesterday I watched her playing tennis. It’s funny the little memories you hold onto from your childhood, one of which was the special tennis shoes Monica & Julia wore! Who knows why I remember them, but I do! haha Anyhoooo. There were quite a few familiar faces I hadn’t seen in over 15 years and it was SO wonderful photographing them in the crowd and wedding party!!
It truly is a small world and I am so grateful I get to capture moments like these for old friends to hold onto for years to come…
