Jackie and Julian’s historic Ogle Hall wedding had so much meaning considering they first met in Annapolis in 2012! Julian was in his final year at the Naval Academy, and Jackie had just moved to Annapolis for a new job. They met when a mutual friend sent Julian over to help Jackie move into her new house. They became friends and started spending more and more time together. After going on their first date at Julian’s favorite sushi restaurant, Nano’s. Fast forward a few years, they were living in San Diego when they got engaged. Julian popped the question at Torrey Pines State Park in California on November 11th, 2016. Julian carried the ring around in his pocket for almost a week, trying to find the best place to propose. He ended up asking Jackie to go for a walk at Torrey Pines, and popped the question after hiking down to the beach. Jackie was completely surprised! Five months later, Julian was re-stationed to Annapolis, and here they are back in Annapolis where it all started.
