The Griney Family : Trust
Trust, Belief, Fate…These are all words we talked about on our Destination Photography Shoot in Kitty Hawk, NC. I truly believe that there is a plan greater then I could ever imagine happening around and for us all. As I drove down to Kitty Hawk, NC from Annapolis, MD accompanied by my best friend, my mom! We talked about life, beliefs, love…but most of all memories. Memories after all are the beautiful reminder of the wonderful life we live, because the essence of life is living it, my Dad used to say.
Along my path came this wonderful family referred to me by a fellow Maryland Photographer friend and I feel it was truly Fate that brought them in my life.
The Griney Family, is beyond unique. They are compassionate, loving, playful, honest, but most of all trusting. I learned this about them in less then 3 hours while we photographed and filmed their beautiful family on the sunny beach of Kitty Hawk, NC! I am so happy they wanted to capture this wonderful time in their life all together at their yearly trip to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on the beach. They have been vacationing here for 7 years and the close bond they share is not replicable. The grandchildren love their grandparents and share in so many memories together.
Although the weather was hot and sticky, there was a nice breeze off the coast for the Beach Photographs. The Griney kids were AMAZING, yes they complained, but I could count it on one hand. Now that in it self is rare! They were such troopers, we all got splashed, I personally got hit by a wave. Apparently I thought that since I was holding my camera the waves would break apart like the Red sea around me…haha. Unfortunately that didn’t happen, but my equipment left unharmed!
There are many things to be learned when taking Beach Portraits and Photographs of a Family, drink plenty of water, take off your shoes, and just jump in and have fun!
