Within the first few minutes of breathing deep, eyes wide open, chin up to the sky, this small town photographer in Paris found an obsession….with…..

DOORS!!

Blue doors, red doors, black, green, distressed doors….Doors! The door knobs, door bells, door knockers and handles were all incredible. It seems that not a detail was missed when the architects from the past designed the buildings from the trim to the door bells. I have always loved unique and antique doors but never seen an awesome one every other flat in America!

Doors I see as the line between one space and another…An opening, closing, chance for reflecting… This kept coming to my mind.

Paris was definitely an opening and closing of many thoughts, ideas, and dreams all in one! Finally I was giving myself the time to really reflect and embrace the opportunities that are actually right in front of my nose that I may not have noticed before! So exciting.
