Caitlin captured this incredible Patapsco Female Institute wedding in Ellicott City, on what was surely to be a record-setting hot day in the last weekend of April.  Scott and Sandee managed to stay perfectly cool and blissfully in love at their gorgeous Ellicott City wedding.  Sandee spent the morning leisurely getting ready at Turf Valley Resort, with her closest girls in a room filled with delicious cupcakes and beautiful flowers.  Sentimental gifts were exchanged, a few tears were shed, then it was off for a first look with her husband-to-be.  After a kissy and giggly first look, the couple headed off to the nuptials at St. Paul’s the same church where Babe Ruth was married over 100 years ago.
We took a quick walk through the city and were whisked away to a magical reception at the Patapsco Female Institute, a Romanesque building on the hilltop of the city, that offered the perfect backdrop for Scott and Sandee’s party!  Handmade table runners with books and whimsical lanterns, homemade olive oils, a popcorn and candy bar, and tiers of delectable cupcakes made it all sparkle as Scott and Sandee’s guests dined on yummy food truck treats of burgers and grilled cheeses.  Guests quenched their thirst at the portable tiki bar and took to the dance floor spun by Scott’s own DJ company, Chris Roorda from The Pros.  <3, Caitlin
