Samantha & Kevin | St. Michael’s Engagement Photos

Samantha & Kevin met me last week for their St. Michael’s engagement photos on such a beautiful day!  They were both so nervous when I arrived but a glass of wine and beer later on the porch of their rental from Two Swann Inn B&B they were goofing around and letting the jitters fade!  St. Michael’s was the perfect place to capture this special time in their lives, as it was where they took their first vacation as a couple and got engaged!  I arrived right as a storm was clearing the coast.  We went to a few of the places in St. Michael’s that had special memories attached: Gina’s mexican hut for a margarita, the house they stayed in when they got engaged, their power boat on the water, and the pier where Kevin proposed!

From Samantha: “The small town charm and harbor views kept us coming back multiple times a year. This past October, we rented a house with both of our families for the weekend. It was Oyster Festival, which is something we all enjoyed. The day of the festival, a friend of ours invited us out on his boat, which was perfect for the picturesque day. On the way back in the harbor, he asked to take a picture of Kevin and I on the front of the boat (this did not seem weird to me at all because he had been taking pictures the entire time!) Before I knew it, Kevin was down on one knee asking to spend the rest of our lives together. Seconds later, in complete shock I heard cheering and clapping only to turn around and see all of our closest friends and family standing on the dock. It was absolutely perfect and was more than I ever could imagined. Kevin went above and beyond planning an engagement party back at the house and getting rooms for everyone to stay. We celebrated the occasion at all of the places that are seen in these pictures. St. Michael’s always had a special place in our hearts, and seven years later is even more special as it is where we decided on forever!”
